Tracy has been on Pitt Meadows council for the past 14 years, serving four terms. She is currently on the Metro Regional Parks Committee, Fraser Health Municipal Advisory, Alternate to Metro Vancouver Board and Translink, Pitt Meadows Day Advisory, Parks, Recreation & Culture Advisory Committee and Active Transportation Committee. Tracy brings continuity and experience to the council and represents the voices of the community by engaging and listening.
About Tracy Elke
Tracy has lived in Pitt Meadows for 22 years. Born and raised in a small town in Manitoba, she enjoys the small town feel of Pitt Meadows.
Tracy works in the BC health system, supporting physicians and ministry partners on advancing cultural safety and improving patient care. She holds a Bachelor of General Studies from SFU and a Bachelor of Leadership & Management from BCIT. She has worked with Indigenous communities for 32 years and has worked for non-profits, local and provincial government, First Nations, as well as owned a small safety training business.
Tracy enjoys being active and has run 8 marathons, entered 2 body building competitions and loves kayaking, hiking and life adventures.
